Tout au long de son parcours artistique, les créations de Michel Delacroix se sont progressivement concentrées sur des questions relatives à ce que l’on nomme communément « œuvre d’art » et à ses modalités de production, d’apparition et de lecture.
Un corpus de propositions et de dispositifs interrogeant le contexte de l’art et de la création s’est ainsi élaboré. Qu’il s’agisse de questionner la pérennité de l’œuvre, les conditions de son émergence, son mode de réception, la légitimité du système qui l’entoure… Michel Delacroix opère par éclatement des procédures et des codes établis pour ouvrir à des interprétations inédites.
